26. DESERT LIGHT
I seek the dramatic landscape, the places that move me intuitively.
With them, I look for the delicate nuances that connect with the bone
dry remnants of a geological past. A flower, rock or dry twig will do.
Beyond that, light defines the moment. The desert, and its various
landscapes, is a place for solitude, quiet, contemplation, peace of
mind; a place for meditation.
